Local help across the valley
We work with people throughout Las Vegas, including Summerlin, Sun City Summerlin, Spring Valley, Centennial Hills, Southwest Las Vegas and North Las Vegas. We'll compare plans from multiple insurance companies and explain the differences in plain language, so you can choose with confidence.
Just moved to Las Vegas?
Many people retire to Las Vegas from other states, and a move changes your Medicare options:
- If you have a Medicare Advantage or Part D plan from your old state, it may not work here. Moving gives you a Special Enrollment Period to choose a new plan.
- If your Medicare Advantage plan ends because you moved out of its service area, you may have a guaranteed right to buy a Medicare Supplement plan without health questions.
- If you already have a Medicare Supplement plan, it still works in Nevada, but your premium may change. It's worth comparing rates once you've moved.
Timing matters with each of these, so give us a call soon after your move.
Make sure your hospitals are in network
Las Vegas has several large hospital systems, and Medicare Advantage networks don't always include all of them. Before you choose a plan, we'll check whether it covers the doctors and hospitals you rely on, such as UMC, Sunrise Hospital or Summerlin Hospital.
Retiree or union coverage
If you have retiree health coverage through a former employer or a union, as many hospitality and gaming workers in Las Vegas do, it's important to understand how it works with Medicare before you make any changes. Some retiree plans require you to sign up for Part B, and dropping retiree coverage can be hard to undo. We'll help you look at the full picture first.
